If only she was here. Perhaps she reads bhc because she has not been there since I posted that.

I just ironed my wife's clothes for tomorrow. Before I finished, she was already asleep. Should have taken her to Magic Mike.

I just hid a few notes for my wife when I left at 3:30am to hog hunt all day.

She had a fantastic meal of fresh hog from my last hunt and a nice bottle of wine when I got home.

    Life is good.

I'm sure as long as you wear your Burger King hat you'll be good to go! How can a woman resist that? Maybe coincide with the pink tank top. Just looking out for ya bro. You're welcome.

Yesterday I bought her a new inner tube. The wheel on the wheelbarrow went flat so I need to buy one anyway so I killed 2 birds with one stone. Showering her with lavish gifts like this is the key to a happy marriage.

I remind her of that daily. It’s the little things that count. She works full time yet finds time for cooking and cleaning and other domestic duties. I help her out by letting her know when I am running low on clean socks and such. She appreciates the heads up.

We had fried chicken last night, I let her have a breast. I mean everyone knows dad gets the big pieces of chicken. Anyway, I feel pretty good about it.

I tend to do that quite often. I’ve considered changing my sig line to:

“My post is most likely just a humorous quip. I’m not responsible for knee jerk injuries or bruised egos as a result of you having read what I wrote.”

I mean, after all, this is the interweb, this is some serious business.:poke:

    Same here.

As far as this thread, I could be putting jabs at my wife with the best of them a few years back and did but after 15 years of marriage I noticed she wasn't laughing anymore and didn't really want to start over again with a new wife.

Bottom line is, this thread is about being a better husband than you already are, it's not about pointing out what great wives we have for putting up with us. Which I think some of us get and can benefit from.

I actually enjoy her company from time to time. She likes Pulp Fiction and beer.
