Get her a Coach purse. I'll bet she'll use that! She'll have someplace to put the smartphone. AND...everything will be happy again. Then sell the other stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
She has two coach purses, makes a month long trip to Korea every other year for a month at a time. I am not paying for something she is not going to use anymore.
I've got a whole second office of stuff I bought and don't really use. She doesn't call me out on my crap and I don't call her out on hers. My focus is to help her be better at being all she wants to be.
Yesterday she announced that once the place is sold and we move, she wants a new car. I had my moment and grabbed it as quick as I could. I told her that if she wanted a new car, we had to look through her want list and permanently cross out some of the other "wants". She gave up on the smart phone without being prodded. She also decided that an acreage close to DSM with a new home of at least 2500 sq ft was not that important. The trips to Korea have gone from one every two years to one every five and finally she conceded her membership to the Imelda Marcos Shoe club. Sometimes it is best to just sit back and wait for the solution to arrive.
