I guess you know where I stand. Season ticket holder and I sat at the game hooker loves to post about. Bama losing to la Monroe at Bryant Deny...paid my dues...but please stop saying all fans of an sec team crow about the conference. Even though it's the best conference by far, some of us just like our squad. Example, Wisconsin plays AuBarn, well, I will do the Bucky...

Over/under how many years before Meyer loses the locker room at OSU and uses his health as an excuse to quit again? I'm going with 3.

Really is that all you got?

You will be happy to hear word out of camp is the Curt Phillips is "pushing" our "rent" QB. It's not my problem that Wisconsin is the place QB's figure out they want to play when they are older and more mature. It's not a bad thing.

Not yet. We're waiting for him to get another championship under his belt, and for Urban to retire before we snatch him up too :sheep:

I'll take the under. Any Buckeye fan that thinks Urban is the long term solution is drinking the scarlet kool-aid.

You do realize Saban has more National Titles than the entire B1G head coaches combined right?

Over. I think he'll stay 5 years. Win a couple B1G titles maybe make it to a national championship game but will lose. There's no way he's going to be able to reciprocate the success he had at UF, but his teams will be good.

I'm not sure I would say "no way", but it will be tougher. He's not being handed the same kind of talent he was at Florida.

The good thing is OSU recruits itself better (regionally) than Florida, so that should help. He has no competition in his own state. A state that has a ton of young football talent. His path to the "playoffs" will be easier, but in the near future he will have to win two games to earn a mythical national championship, instead of one.

I think both Michigan and OSU are on the upswing. Hopefully, they can close the large gap between themselves and the top SEC schools. They are really the only two schools in the conference that have a chance to do so...probably ever. Wisconsin and MSU are cute, but I can't see them being NC type schools. I wouldn't call them frauds, but I wouldn't call them contenders either.

Ok let's argue about who will win this second rate conference and go to the Rose Bowl, oh goody. Let me know when y'all go to a NC. It's gonna be SEC winner vs. USC.

Vito that is pretty big talk from a guy that roots for a team that is 35-28 in the last 5 years.

The sad thing is tend to agree with you. Michigan and OSU definitely are on the rise and I don't see anyone else raising the bar right now.

Michigan definitely has some momentum coming out of last year but I tend to think that Hoke will have a few more struggles this year. Last year was a dream season, we'll learn more this year about what Michigan really brings to the table.

OSU has the talent and now the leadership to be dominate for years to come, that is a very scary team over the next few years.

Michigan State I've never seen as a true contender but they have been pretty darn good the last hand full of years.

Wisconsin with their rent-a-QB program may be in for a reality check this year but no one will know until they take the field. Losing the majority of their staff will have a major impact on that team not to mention the next temp stepping in at QB.

Nebraska will be bipolar once again this year, I don't think that will stop until we get a new head coach or at least strong coordinators that are able to lead at a high level. Nebraska could win the conference or be a .500 team, time will tell.

I agree. I think 8-4 would be a good year for them. We won't know what they really are until Hoke gets more of "his" players in there, but he's doing okay with what he's got.
