To "summerize" or not to "summerize" That is the question.

I am thinking about doing something that would unquestionably make it snow. I got the snow blower in the driveway and was just about ready to start to "summerize" it. But then I seconded guessed myself. Is it too early? Am I going to regret it? It's freaking 78 deg here right now and the 10 day forecast shows it staying warm. Can't imagine getting any significant snowfall anymore but then I look at the calendar and see it's still the middle of March. How can I put the snowblower away this early?

What do you think? Go for it and screw up the weather for everyone up here? or wait?

If you do and bring snow to SE Wisconsin, no big deal to me. However, if you really PO the weather and we get snow in southern Iowa, you better be ready to clear my drive too! lol

I took my plow off my wheeler on Monday. Mother nature can suck it if she snows now as it can melt.

I still have the front loader and 3 pt blade on my tractor. Just don't want to use if for snow anymore (this year).

The Pecan trees are blooming in my backyard, thus, there will be no more freezes. The Pecan trees know all.

Serious question. Do you typically get below freezing in march yet?

I took the snow blade off my tractor last weekend and it got nothing but hotter.

It's always a gamble here. 50/50 chance of snow. As Pat said, If it snows, it can melt on it's own.

I keep telling you people......don't pack that stuff away just yet.
In 1990 we had 14" of snow on May 11 in Milwaukee.

We usually have at least one freeze in March. I'm pretty sure we had 2 snows last year in March. This year? I don't think we have been below 45 yet. I think we have had one freeze since January.

Hell, I said that 2.5 weeks ago when we got the last storm. Let it melt. My neighbors can win the clean driveway competition.

I agree somewhat with this Dan but that does not take into account 10 inches of snow with 30+mph wind AND I have to go to work the next day. It doesn't take much under those circumstances to get plowed in with a chest high drift at the end of the driveway.

My wife has a Suburban and I have a 2010 Duramax crew cab. I'm not too worried about getting stuck. Plus, if we get a pile at the end of the driveway we can't get over, my brother has a plow on his truck.
