Can anyone give me some insight? I’ve had 3 shoulder surgeries on my right shoulder. I can’t shoot right handed; I’m unable to get the proper anchor point allowing me to see through a peep. Can I shoot a left hand bow even though I’m right eye dominant??? I would like to do so to be able to shoot with my son. Thank you and any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, easily doable. You will just have to close your right eye when aiming. Many do it now, close their non-dominant eye/shoot using one eye, when shooting and have very good success.

Anything is possible , a good friend of mine lost his dominate arm in Desert Stom from his elbow down , i got him back into shooting and hunting as far as thats concerned , he now shoots a left handed bow and does very good , he wacked a doe last year at 40 yards , we shoot together as much as we can , he was right eye dominate also , having to close his right eye to shoot was the easiest task he had to over come .

I'm left handed, right eye dominate and close my right eye as said above. The biggest hurdle will be pulling the bow back and feeling comfortable. It will take a while to do so. I tried it so I could shoot either hand while hunting, just wear a release on both hands, but I just couldn't make it work for me.
