Troy ( shed33 ) will always be at the top of my list and I talk to him a lot now.

It really is hard to narrow it down with so many on here that I would love to talk deer, bow hunting deer, scouting or shed hunting with. Troy is well versed in all four. Others that fit that bill or most of them anyways would be...

    Buckeye
    Silverflicker
    Tribal
    Duke
    Fran
    JMBuckhunter
    BloodCrick
    Dubbya
    Buck Magnet

    From the other forum...

    Motown
    Antler Eater

If a guy could spend a day or two with each one of these guys listed above... it would be well worth it.

I need to get alot better at learning how the deer move around on my property, and how to set up on them well.

For this, I choose Mr. Buckeye

I would love to get Shed, Greg H, and Dan Infalt together and have them walk thru some of my hunting areas. I would drive them crazy constantly asking them "what do you see?" and "what are you thinking?" and "where would you set up and why?".

I've listened to Buckeye's tips and stories... You guys should pick someone else.....Hey the guy had to come to PA and kill his deer last year. What does that say about being able to scout your own areas?

Hmmm? J/K Scott is a good dude with alot of Whitetail knowledge. But since I've been so sucessful at the Typical Whitetail game I think I'd like to get into Rob/Pa's head and find out more about these Non typical Rob bucks

No disrespect to you other Buckmasters of course

Well considering I stink at the whole patterning game...

I'll take a piece of everyone's knowledge here.

I'd talk to Greg H. He speaks my lingo when talking about whitetails and big bucks. For some reason what he says makes a lot of sense to me. He's killed one or two wallhangers too.

Infalt (hunt hilly terrain like me), Rybo (hunts pressure areas), Gri22ly (topo/big buck mindset)--I actually had the pleasure and honor to sit with Josh a bit and talk topos just a week ago....I went back and scoured over all of my maps using the principles I learned when talking with him...it caused me to move my stand locations. I have spots that I won't hunt until the very right time. I am super excited. If things pan out for me, I will share what I learned and how applied it this hunting season.

And to be honest with you guys, probably 50 more of you all. Many of you have some fantastic ideas.

I am going to say this again....I PREDICT this is collectively going to be the best hunting season we have seen since many of our HNI days.....IT IS ON!

Atlasman! I need to know what makes that dude tick.

Schultzy, magic, bowjoe, and few others just for a cold one and some great stories. I am sure a hour would not be long enough.
My opinion is if im going to get one hour i want it to be a fun one. Strategy and all that other talk would bore the hell out of me to waste a hour on.
Ive spent the last 10-12 years between HNI and BHC getting to know most of you and how you hunt. I want to get down to the stories and memories
you guys have created over the years. Their Has to be some great stuff out there among us.

I have already talk to many on here and thank them all for some great input.

Boy tough call. I've opened this thread 3 or 4 times and no, one name, sticks out. There are lots of guys I'd enjoy talking with, and several I have.

I reckon my opinion is if you thought someone could help you that much, perhaps you should have reached out to them, after all we are all friends in the hunting world.

Excellent point. I have talked with 2 of the 3 I listed in person or on PM's with some great information.

I was at Walmart Boy's house last night, he was in Minn hunting. Let's just say it did not go well:eek:

What was the dudes name from Iowa who shot that 200'' buck, the deer had a kick stand it was so big.

For the life of me I cannot remember his name. I remember one of his lines to atlas

"I am long and strong big buck Killing BEEEEEETCH" He had a post every year about letting them go so they could grow:)

    If only one. Greg H.

Forget the size of bucks that he has killed. Just read all the subtle details within some of his posts and it is obvious (to me anyway) the man knows his stuff and has thought a lot of this out as well as what he has learned from his observations/experiences over the year.

There are many more on here that I learn things from or at a minimum, they give me some things to "think and ponder upon" and ask myself "if or how" they affect my own hunting situation.

GMMAT comes to mind in this regard. He poses a lot of questions and "what if's".
I disagree with his conclusions/outlooks some of the time and other times I don't, but regardless he gives me plenty to think about on a regular basis.

Duke's comments are thought provoking as well.

If the conversation was about bow shooting/tuning, etc. it would be Rob/PA hands down. Not that he doesn't know his whitetails as well

There are a few on here I pay attention to when they are giving out advice (Shed, Gri22ly, and GregH come to mind).

But, if it had to be one person I would probably say GregH.

He's been doing this for a long time with success and also hunts simular terrian that I do.
