Every time I go out to the hunting land I get something done I find another to do so the list never gets any shorter. So as the days pass by what are your to do lists before the season comes?

Plant a fall food plot and finish a blind that we are making out of logs and pallets. Find another spot we want to hang a tree stand. Pray for a good year.

Most stuff is done for me. Been busting my tail. I did not get everything done I wanted to but I got a lot of it. I want to let the woods sit now till the season. I do have to broadcast seed on my small plot but I can't do that for a few weeks yet. I guess just practice with my bow now.

    This.

I have three stands to put up, as well as mark some trails with reflective tacks.

Get some 125gr broadheads. Get my mock scrapes set up. Get the girlfriend a harness and teach her to use my climber.
I'm sure I'm missing a few things but those are my main objectives right now.

Where to start ? Got some plots sprayed with gly today. Will put the bush hog back on the tractor early tomorrow and mow my roads and trails for the last time this fall. Move the tractor to my buddy's place Mon. and mow. Go back and spray gly on a few plots at his lease ( where I also hunt ). Back to my place, put on my disc, and start discing plots that I sprayed a couple weeks ago. Brush in a new bow blind that I placed this morning. Hope to get all this done next week. Then it's off to work for a week, and when I come back, finish up discing all those plots to culminate in a gigantic planting on labor day weekend. I'm tired just thinking about it !

If write them out but don't have 3 hours to waste ;) lol. Too much. Especially with hunting season plus having a baby on the way. It's either house remodeling work or out in the field scouting, plotting, setting, ranging, practicing or feeding. Lol

Work on entry gate crossing to ensure poachers do not have easy access. Setup entry cam on new gate. Refresh mock scrape line with yard rake. Cut back overgrown hedges on fence row leading to crop field.
