To cold for cams?

    My brothers Coverts work awesome in -25 temps. My newer Reconyx don't like those cold temps as much as his coverts do. lol

    Lithium batteries are the key during the winter months. They will last thru the coldest of temperatures. I own 4 Moultrie M-80 XDs and a Big Rack Trophy Products 300 IR. They all have worked well in the coldest of temperatures....-40 has been seen on the thermometer a few times.

    My Moultire M990Gi has a low record for me at -33. It has been out since December 1st and still has 70% battery life. It has taken over 2,000 pictures on the 10mp setting at 3 shot burst. This thing is a champ in the cold.

    Been down to -14 here, and ive left all my cams out. Batteries die a little fast, but everything else is just fine.

    ok awesome maybe I just over reacted to some minor camera glitches. I will be putting them back out in the next week or 2.

    I leave mine out and just checked them and they are doing fine, I love winter pics and in my opinion its best time to get that mature day pic of a huge buck before he loses his horns. Love winter pics. Scoot
