I was wondering if temperature is a factor for you when putting cams out? Last couple weeks my cams have been kinda screwy, Im thinking because of the cold. Was wondering if anyone else has the same issue. I pulled all but 1 cam out of the woods.

My MP-E5 has lasted great in the cold! Not the Cuddebacks and Wildgames on the other hand...

Yeah mine were wildgames. And my Moultrie batteries seemed to die really fast in the cold. The only cam that I have out not is one of my brand new MPE5s so well see how she does!

My dad told me no matter how cheap WG, Cuddeback, or Moultrie are he won't let me buy one because he hates to see me throw my money out the window...

haha I personally love my WGs for the most part. Pretty hard to beat for the price, and allows me to have 5 cams instead of 2. Big difference on 120 acres. But, I did get 2 MPE5s, and if I like them, and can find them for $75 again, Ill stock up. Have to test them first for myself. They seem like a very well liked camera.

The cold temps are hardest on batteries. Normally the camera are fine but the batteries are the issue if there is a problem.

No problems here yet, it's been as low as 1 below zero, the Covert MP6, Primos Ultra 35, Moultrie M100, and Moultrie A5 have been working fine.

Yeah batteries seem to be the biggest issue. Especially the C cell ones, which you have taught me arnt the best for trailcams in the first place. Cant wait to see how this MPE5 does out there.

I started getting aggravated with my cuddybacks, I had 4500 pictures and not one deer lol, it was on time lapse but funny thing is the tracks went right in front of it. It stopped taking pics a month ago but took a pic of me when I went to check it lol. Takes me an hour to look at all the pics haha

My Red40 is still on original batteries since late spring. My homebrews need changing every few weeks in this weather, though.

Brought mine in for the winter.

The stretches of cold weather we have had here in MN have been out of this world.

    good batteries is the key.

Had -23 for a temp (windchill close to -50) this morning when my red40 snapped a few pictures of me by the bird feeder.
