I quit for 4 years when I had my lil girl. Went through a divorce and went to the gas station and bought a can. Haven't tried to kick it again since that day. Wish I'd never started again. Would have a lot more $$$ for other stuff I don't need!!!

Don't start, then you won't have to worry about quitting!

Give it a shot. You might like cancer or the other possible oral diseases you'll eventually get.

I was wondering about this the other day. I remember last year you said something about thinking about it every day. I'm in the process of quitting, but man it sucks. I have been using Bacc Off too, but I'm a Copenhagen Long cut guy so it's not the same.

If you like mint shoal there is a good way to quit. I forget the name of it but its these really strong mint pouches. My buddy got them online. When I stopped dipping I realized I missed just having something under my lip and spitting. Sounds funny but I did these stop that craving. It doesn't stop the nicotine craving but it did help me quit. I did those and didn't dip for about a month, I had a "few" beers one night and put a dip in I only lasted a minute before it made me sick and feel like s***. I'm glad I did that because now I am not missing anything. I am going to miss tho the first dip you put in on your walk to your stand at 5 am, I couldn't wait for that one!!!!

I will chew just a about any kind, I prefer Copenhagen. If you want to buy some, buy it. If you don't like it quit. Too many people past judgment on others for their so called "bad habits " Eat another double cheese burger and drink a diet coke.

Don't Start! I chewed for 8 years and finally quite three years ago in July. My gums were burning, lips and teeth hurt, my wife hated the habit. once you start it is SO hard to quit. Expensive, and as others have said DISGUSTING.

Terrible idea. While I appreciate the occasional cigarette or dip, I have the self restraint to not do it.

    Too expensive.
    Too disgusting (socially).
Too dangerous to long term health.

I did at one time in my life while living in Georgia. I stopped that many moons ago. I'd rather do Rosie Odonell that start again. REally a nasty habit IMO.

I do, I wish I could quit. Don't do it when your hunting, that habit is extremely hard to break!!!!!!!!!!! I have forgotten it in the past and it was all I could think about, completely ruined my night in the woods. I'm back into hunting after a few years off and I hope to go without it and establish a new habit, shooting deer!!!!

Great post, I've been chewing for almost 20 years. Quit for 2 years once, but started up again when I had a stressful time in life. I would like to quit, maybe this thread will help me. Where can I get that Bacc Off? That looks like a start.

I get it the same place I get my chew. It's usually hidden somewhere, you might have to ask for it. Walmart also has Smokey Mountain or something like that, but I thought it was horrible. I'm thinking about just eating a can of Copenhagen so I can quit, but haven't been drunk enough yet
