To chew or nor to chew?

    How many of you guys chew? How many chew and wish you could quit?

    I tried it in my youth, and I used smoke (amongst other things), but haven't touched anything for 13 years. However, ever since I took up this outdoorsy lifestyle, I've had the urge to start dipping! I'm telling you guys, I barely made it out of 7-11 today, because that pouch of Redman was calling my name!

    I know its just personal preference, but I just wanted to throw it out there and get it off my chest.

    I do and usually in the stand. I do dip apple flavor while in the stand though.

    Tried it at a very drunken party when I was 17 and ended up gutting about 90% of the dip.

    Never again have I thought about chewing.

    Copenhagen it'll drive your women wild! Sorry that foxworthy song always comes to mind. Dipped since i was 14. Cheaper than smoking. Deer dont seem to mind.

    I have every year so far this will be my first non dipping season it's been tough quitting but definitely worth it. I was dipping at least a tin a day and quit cold turkey. I've always dipped in the stand tho and hoping I don't start up again this year.

    Good luck! I went cold turkey from everything (smoking, drinking, and more) all the same day 13 years ago. I know how it is. My only vice now is coffee, not sure if I need one more. ;)

    High my name is okcaveman.....and I am a dipper.... whew that felt good. Red seal wintergreen here, can a day habit and yes even in the stand. Been dipping 17 years. I want to quit, wish I had never started,
