So I think I'm going to buy a used Elite Energy soon off of craigslist, and was wondering if there's anything in particular I should be looking for? I know to make sure the strings are ok and I'm not too worried about small nicks in the finish. But are there some thing that you should look at before you buy a bow?

I would make sure to pull it back and make sure it is smooth and nothing seems out of whack.

And like you said you should be able to tell cosmetically how hard of a life it has had

Thoroughly go through the limbs and cams to make sure everything is normal. Ask to meet at a range or pro shop so you can shoot a couple arrows

I am on my fourth E series right now. And tuned a few others as well.
I haven't seen any issues other then cosmetics, mostly on the cams and limb pockets coating.
Your getting a transferable warranty with the bow so really any major issues that come up in the future you should be covered.

Alright, thanks guys! I forgot they had a transferable warranty. I will definitely meet him at a range too, that's a great idea.
