About 2 weeks ago I picked some up from wal-mart an set out to make a scrape. I put it pretty close to an oak that produced pretty good this year maybe 25 yds away plus the scrape is on a deer trail where I saw no rubs an really couldn't see any signs of original scrapes. Did I do right putting it on that trail? Ive saw several small bucks already using the trail before I even started the scrape. Does go in an out of there frequently also. If this area has any potential will the tinks reveal it or is it just a crap shoot? Your thoughts please this is my first time using the product.

I used it for the first time this year and in two stand locations I have had 10 different bucks working my mock scrapes.

normally you want to start your mock scrapes late summer/early fall that way the bucks start visiting them before rut.

Did your location have a licking branch?? That is key to mock scrape creation.

Yeah thats all I have gotton so far looks like none over 2 1/2 at least thats my take from the pics I've seen the fork horn in person a few times, and I find it very interesting that this stuff really works as I have never used mock scrape starter in my days of hunting only golden estrus an its always brought bucks in fine but just wanted to try a new approach. If I get a good pull next week I might be sold on it lol. [IMG][IMG][IMG]
