Well earlier on I issued the challenge to KILL a 100 inch or better buck on public land. It will be interesting to see who can make it happen. I will have my work cut for me as I regularly only see 1-2 bucks over 100 inches each year where I hunt. Part of that is my fault as my set-ups have been sub-optimal, but that has been changing over the past 2-3 years. I would really like to see if we can average over 100 inches as a group. That would be a heck of a testament to the public land hunters on this website. Of course, shoot whatever makes you happy and be realistic.

How about a multi-state buck challenge? Terms could be best buck any state, or combined average, or combined total. Who's up for that?

Germ and Rybo I know you two hunt at least two states. I'll be in PA, MD, and MN this year.

I would try to horn in on your wager, but I would feel bad taking your money. :D

I want in on this public land wager too. I've seen the public land bucks that shed, grizz, and buckeye lay down...they are easily beatable. I think I've narrowed down the bedding area of a great 1.5 year old 8pt. He will go 60" easy. I can post my address so everyone can just mail me the cash. This thing is over.

What the heck. I'll get in on that.

Oh sure... pick on the worst place to challenge short of the Florida key deer. LOL Unless of course you live by Germ. He lives in Booner City. [IMG]

Anyone want to go for a Mule deer challenge? We have some public land that we hunt where they are really tough to get close to.

Sounds cool Griz, I was thinking I would throw in a Bear claw/teeth necklace I made. Arrow head would be cool, i'd make a necklace out of it. That bear necklace I made looks cool just hanging on something too.. if you don't like necklaces or I have some ELK IVORYS I could give ya for a wager ... let me know

Spokane is real close, as a matter of fact my Eastern WA hunting area is really close to Spokane; about 20-30 min away from there.

I'll take some of that action. Highest combined total.
Even though I've yet to double out...but one of these years I will, maybe this one.
