Scarface IS a small-ish deke, Greg... nothing like that huge Boss decoy that came out a couple years ago.

I'll be hunting a few miles north of you John at our farm, but not until Saturday afternoon. Last I saw was a high of 11 and a low of -3. Probably sounds tropical for some of the northern guys, but for this Illinois boy....pretty damn cold.

I have been hunting for 1 more deer in the freezer, and last night ended up passing on 3 young bucks, and 9 does. I have never killed a deer in the snow with my bow, and I knew this system was passing through, so I spared the life of a doe last night.

No action tonight, it was tooooo damn windy. I did see 2 deer bedded on a hillside out of the wind as I was walking in to set up the blind. They probably did the smart thing and stayed in a bottom somewhere out of the wind. My plot is on top of a hill in the wind. Maybe this weekend will be better.
