Bam, the kid started last year on her first travel ball team, she batted last and played left field(where no balls go). She has worked her way to lead off batter and is our best out fielder Right now her On Base pct is above 900, and her batting average is .705. She's one of the few that can get around fast enough to hit the ball to left field.
Word,,,Thats awesome G,,Take it in while you can, My Daughter was a travel ball pitcher and in HS, Its all over now and Dam i miss it, loved travel ball 10 times better than HS ball,,keep us updated on the little slugger!
Fun times for sure, hope she continues to enjoy it. My daughter quit after her sophomore year and focused more on her dance. My son is a freshman now and has played 2 years already for the high school and is eat up with everything about baseball, even the conditioning.
My 4 year old scored 4 goals Sunday, looked over at me, held up 4 fingers and gave a head nod....yeah its that intense.
That's fantastic Germ! There is just nothing better than having a child experience success after working hard for it. Absolutely no better feeling in the world. Good for you for supporting her in her passion to play ball. Enjoy, as others have said, it goes by WAY too fast.
Mine just swims. He tried playing basketball one year. Coach told him to put his hands up... so he ran up and down the court like he was surrendering to the enemy. We figured maybe that's not his thing.
