So.... This girl I know has always been into me, I mean she's cute but not really what I'm looking for. But, her family owns 800 acres with booners running around and I mean some out right monster bucks. I mean she is a cool girl and her dads a good guy but I'm not the kind of guy to ask to hunt somebody else's hard earned land. But if I was to have a thing(something more than a friendship) with her she would ask me to come hunt with her at the farm in a heart beat... Should I start something and see where it goes to or be the biggest A-hole ever and use her to shoot some monster bucksI mean sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do right? or play it safe not get involved and just stay friends lol

    Young people problems.

As for me, I am not using anyone for anything.

Im guessing you are at least friends with her now, right? Id talk to her or her dad about wanting to hunt. It doesn't hurt to ask. Ive been all over the county knocking on doors. But that way you are using her just for her land and maybe if you hunt with her a couple times you will get to know her more and she could end up being "your type" weirder things have happened.

Do unto others dude, would you like to be used if roles were reversed. I don't think that would be very cool. If you're not willing to settle for what she is then I wouldn't use her for a hunting guide. You both deserve better than that.

Personally, if she's cute and a decent person then I'd probably be willing to settle. There's worse things in the world than being with a cute girl that's into you. I just wouldn't do it for the hunting access.

A relationship solely to hunt on that land is a bad idea.

Just ask her father if he would consider leasing you hunting rights.

No, I wouldn't do it. But if she's as into you as you think, she'll probably offer you to hunt there eventually, just one more weapon in her arsenal. 'Course when she figures out that ain't working, you probably lost your spot. Oh young love!

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

You should not fly under false colors in order to get what you want at the expense of anothers feelings. I guarantee that it would end badly. I would stay friends and see where it goes.

I find it funny that you won't ask to hunt someone else's land, but that you'd be willing to lead a girl along and use her to hunt her dads land.
I don't honestly think you have an issue hunting someone else's hard earned land, I just think you want to take the "easier" road to do it.
Now off of my soap box. Always try to do good in life. This would be terrible, and the potential fallout from this could be catastrophic. Land aside, you'd be screwing with someone's heart.

What goes around comes around I've learned that lesson in life.

Another thing you should ask yourself, how does her family feel about drinking alcohol in the Treestand?

Treat people how you would want to be treated. If you have no interest in this girl, walk away. Don't use her just to hunt.

Whoa wait is this even a decision that needs to be contemplated? Tap into that and shoot a trophy sounds like a win win.:)

I'll tell you what, sounds like dangerous territory to me. An angry father is one thing, but a father who finds out you led his daughter on just to take advantage of their hunting grounds might be a whole different story. I'd play it safe and talk to the father about hunting his land, whether its leased or not. In my opinion, if this girl is a friend of yours now, I'd keep it that way. I've never been a big fan of screwing friends over.

Better to have a friend for a long time than an ex. I've made that choice a number of times and it was always the right one.

I did that when I was in high school and to this day I still feel bad about it. Try dating her you might change your mind about her and if it works out then hunt the land and if it don't work out then walk away.

Hold the phone lot's of folks going off half cocked here, it is too complex of a decision to just make a snap judgement. OP we need a picture of the lass to come up with a contemplated well thought answer.:)
