Reviews? As in Chasing Game? The only reviews I really care about are real world, as in actual customers using them. Hence, why We'll only buy Coverts anymore.
I like trailcampro.com, personally. I can fit the data to the real world. I had the 6C cells going in 2-3 weeks in one cheap cam. It got spendy fast. I have battery life as my #1 criteria now, followed by trigger speed and angle of view. Recovery time should be reasonable. Picture quality (within reason of course) is likely next. I like the video on the Bushnell, its fun. But I could live w/o video.
Whatever the review site is, it doesn't compare to real world. One person testing one single camera vs thousands of people actually using the camera......I'll listen to the crowd. As for battery life.....nevermind, I've already covered that.
Nice try. It's obvious you don't want to buy a Covert. So, go get your Ranger Ops and I hope you like it.
The link I gave you was for the 2012 model Red 40, trailcampro.com gave the 2012 Red 40 rating over a 4. Don't remember the exact number, seemed like 4.1 or 4.2.
If I were to get a Covert, it would be the Black Ops or the MP6 most likely (yes, could I chose two cams from the same mfg that were more different)?
I suppose I could explain that... I have two cams in mind. One would be for when do not get up as often as I like and for during scouting between weekends, the Black Ops. It could double as a high quality cam for at food plots and mineral sites) The MP6 would be in my "scouting party", Cheaper cams (in case stolen) that move around a lot and scout movement, not food plots or mineral sites.
I see what you're getting at, it just blows me away that guys are buying 2013 MP6's or any cheaper cam for that matter when there are 2012 Red 40's on sale for only 10 or 15 bucks more. You're getting one of the best cams on the market for the price of a lower quality cam.
Those reviews are for the 2013 models, the 2012 Red 40/ Black 60 was a totally different review that is no longer on their site. You can't get a 2013 Red for nearly the same price as a 2013 MP6.
I hear that but my experience has been different. Could not be happier with my Bushnell. For the price, the Primos is so far more than acceptable. Bushnell is a trailcampro favorite. Using battery life and price, they also recommended the Primos. So far, they are 2 for 2. They also were impressed by the Browning, and I would bet they will be correct again. They have been very accurate so far.
