I am beginning to look for a new crossbow. I am a petite woman 5'3" so I like a shorter bow that is easy to handle in the woods. I currently have a Parker Tomahawk (would not recommend to anyone). I have looked at some TenPoints and shot a couple, they are very nice but was wondering about the crossbows with reverse limbs, I have heard mixed reviews and was wondering if anyone has heard of the company Scorpyd for reverse draw crossbows. Not sure of the quality or durability of these. Thoughts?

    New Crossbow

Hi, I just purchased my second Crossbow and it is a TenPoint GT Flex. My original Xbow is an Excalibur Vortex. I really like the simplicity and strength of the recurve xbows and the fact that I can adjust the poundage on the TenPoint is awesome. I have harvested deer with both crossbows and I am still getting used to the lighter adjustable TenPoint - but so far it is a great choice and one you may want to consider?

A friend did a bunch of research and ended up buying a Scorpyd. The best part about the reverse limbs is it makes it not so front heavy. Also you can change the string fairly easy by yourself.

    Thanks Wats,
I think I want to shoot one! Fendernut, I do like the tenpoint very much, they have a new lightweight 6.5 lb bow to be released April 1...I want to shoot that one as well. I want to do my homework this time, I didnt have alot to spend the 1st time, and boy did I pay for that...I want to upgrade by alot so i am taking my time since now that I have a couple of years hunting with it, I know more specifically what I want.
