Well, I finally decided to go to one of the bow shops around here and shoot some new bows... I've been shooting a parker huntermag for 5 or 6 years now. I like it, it kills animals... but I like these ones even more haha. The 1st one I shot was a carbon matrix. Holy cow! That is a sweet lookin bow. Shoots good too. Kinda spendy though. Wasnt set up for me hadnt shot one before and my 1st 2 shots were touching each other. The next one I shot was the Maxxis. That sucker is SMOOTH! good draw cycle and no vibration what so ever on the release. Im going to go back up and shoot the Elite Judge. That one wasnt set up yet so I couldnt try it out. But the lady at the shop said to come in again and she would have it set up with a rest. I'll get through this hunting season with the parker but next year I'm definately pickin up a new one. Sorry about the bad pic. Its from my phone. [IMG]

I have been trying to convince myself to not buy a new bow but it isn't going well. I was going to get a destroyer but am now looking at the elite judge as a good option. They seem like a very nice bow. Keep us updated once you shoot it.

What shop has the Carbon Matrix in AK, Full Curl? I've got a guy here that's interested in one. If you're looking at Elite don't pass up the Z28, it's the smoothest drawing bow I've ever shot. It even makes my Mathews DXT feel harsh!

yeah, Full curl has 3 of them.(2 black 1 camo) I'm going to shoot the Elite when I go back up to Anchorage next week. Im just shootin as many as I can now too see what I like best. So far the maxxis is at the top of my list. Have you been in there yet Rob? Its a nice place. I did the techno hunt with my old man. Thats a pretty cool way to practice.

Haven't been in there yet but maybe on Saturday while I'm up that way. I'm usually over at Back Country but Bill's Techno Hunt has been T.U. for years so maybe I will need to go into Full Curl. I need to check out my fellow Elite dealers anyway.
