I have a crappy camo backpack I bought at a army navy store. It worked good for a little while, but it seems the more I learn every year the more I bring! I am looking to get a good back pack for Bow season-muzzleloader season. So I'd like it to have alot of small compartments so I can be quick and organized. Anyone have any suggestions? This is one I found for cheap! http://www.bigdealwarehouse.com/products/Fieldline-Dwight-Schuh-Tree-Stand-Pack.html What do you think?

I have this backpack. Made by Fieldline also. It has a small compartment in the front on the bottom that is big enough to hold my pruning saw, shears, knive, and grunt while also organizing other small things like scents, wind powder, cell phone, licnese etc. It has a round pocket towards the top where I keep my rangefinder and bino's. The main compartment can carry extra clothing, food, and is hydration-pack compatible (sold separately). It has a few smaller pockets here and there, also. It seems to be fairly rugged and seems like it will hold up. The only down side so far is its made in China. For $30 it seems like a good deal. You may get even more for your money with the pack you have found as it is made by the same company. Try to see if you can check it out in a store before hand.

Ya, they haven't got all their stock in yet...but they look solid. I'm gonna get one to put through the paces...I'll do a review.

Whats the hold up I wonder? I'll be looking for that review.

I've actually thought about getting a fanny pack to start using but I don't know if it will hold all the junk I carry. :)

Is the new one made of soft material or is it that stuff that sounds like a zipper when brushed against branches, tall grass etc? Might be a good idea to to get one with the soft material.

Watch for my reviews coming on daypacks....

I have done some reviews on daypacks and I have started posting them more to come tomorrow or Wednesday. Great packs and if your looking for something relatively cheap in price but good is the Fieldline Big Game Pack.

I was planning on getting one of the Predator packs this year also. They look awesome and practical. Just can't decide which one to get.

Me to Ferg. They have stock in the G2, and I am tempted to get it to see it, but I feel it may be too small. The mainbeam would be the next step up, but the fact that it has an internal frame makes me thing that it's either too big or may be too heavy.

    The G2 measurements are:
    length: 21"
    wide: 13"
    depth: 9"

I have a Redhead pack simular in size to the G2 so I am leaning towards the Mainbeam. I can't decide if want to get one this season or not. Between the Redhead and my Whitetail Pack that I have I don't know that I really need it and I have a few other items that I also want to get. I might just wait till the ATA show and see if they have them so I can actually check them out first. Let me know what you decide to do and what you think of the pack you get!

I have a Mainbeam, and absolutely love it. It's the perfect whitetail bag, in my opinion. Got it for $75 on AT.

check out the "bowbat". It carry's your bow and has a pack with several pocket's around it. Then when you have it up to your tree it serves as a backrest, with all the pocket's within easy reach. I know they sell them at cabelas. Thinking about getting one....all the guy's use them on buck commander.
