Or more like "the pounce". Looks like he's on his way to an easy win this week. Is this the year he bounces back and dominates again? Or is it just Torrey Pines? Does he win a major or 2,3,4? Or just scatter a win here and there and miss some cuts/finish bottome of the pack in another up and down year? Or does he just happen to be getting some on the side this week that allows him to elevate his play?

He wins one Major but overall has a very inconsistent year.

I think there is more competition now which will make it harder for him to be dominant again as he has in the past. I think he has a good year. Heck, one win is a good year to 90% on tour. I will be cheering for him.

win one major and atleast 3 or 4 other tour events.

This is torrey pines.........he's won on here 6 other times, he grew up playing that course quite a bit. His driving this week is helping him. His putting is pretty good as well. I've played a few events (tour) in my day......the course isn't that hard. Keep in mind some of these courses are made for tv events...lol

Tiger's on this week that's for sure. I've been inside the ropes out there......expect tiger to have a big year. With the changes with foley really taking hold after 3 years.......you will see confidence you haven't seen since 2008-2009 with Tiger. With him trusting his driver more and the putter is better (he is standing up taller with the putter) he will give rory a run. I wouldn't be at all surprised he's back to #1 by the PGA Championship.

Let's not get all giddy about Tiger just yet. All the BEST golfers in the world are not here playing right now. None of the McElroy's or the big name European golfers are in attendance. I suspect the way he's spraying the ball in this final round means his game is still touchy. Give him some big competition by Rory or someone down the stretch and it's a different game. He is winning...no doubt.... but today has not been real pretty.

I agree about his driver. Still scary the way he hits it left to left and right to right sometimes. Like Faldo says, he doesn't seem to have that go to shot to put it in the fairway whenever he wants like he used to when he hit his "stinger" back in the day. Playing out of the roughs at majors is not going to be a recipe for wins (aside from agusta). However his game inside 100 yards and around the greens looks REALLY good. I'm not crowning him yet. But winning his first tour event by what looks like 7 or 8 shots is still pretty impressive no matter who is in it. Some big names arent' around yeah, but thumping the Watneys, Snedekers and Micklesons of the world isn't exactly beating up on chumps lol.

Well forget the 7 or 8 shots. He is fixing to go boggy double boggy and isn't done yet. If someone had put some pressure on him he'd be toast at this point.
