So he won an event where all the top players were abscent. Then he avoided the next weeks event where everyone who mattered was there. Now he shows up at the Masters and is about 4 pages back after day two. The boy is done... finished. He had the world by the ying yang. He had several hundred million in indorsements, was winning double digit events and one day said... I got an idea... I'll fire my caddy, fire my coach and change my swing. So the guy everyone in the golf world said was the best ever thought he should change it all. Well he went a couple years not so good and finally won a few. AND THEN... he said.. I got an idea... I'll fire my caddy, fire my coach and change my swing... AGAIN. He keeps telling us it's close... but the boy is getting close to the senior tour with all these swing changes. Oh, I forgot... in between all these swing changes he decided to entertain anything in a skirt and his wife showed him how a 3 iron works for varmint control. Done... history... not a factor. He keeps coming up with all this crap about the swing etc etc. Hit the damn ball and put it in the hole. Play like that Jimenez dude with a cigar hanging out and whacking the ball.
Yep... I thought this was the end of the Tiger drama/swing coach/new swing/mental place/ etc..... The dude just needs to go play golf! I really thought after Bay Hill it was the end of all th BS and drama. I've never seen a bigger meltdown/confused round of golf in my life than today at the Masters. He really doesn't know what way is up. Just go hit golf shots!!!!!! #16 really confirmed it for me. The guy is a mental case. Dudes came through that pin placement all day almost making ones. Throwing it at it like it was a dart board. All over that pin. Tiger hits it in the front right bunker? Might be the only shot in there all day! I think he's trying too much. Not to mention his 3rd at 15?!?!? Just weird stuff. He's playing golf swing instead of golf. Oh well...... I hope my man Freddys back can hold up for another 36 holes.
Would it be great to see Freddy win this thing? Couples is the man. Always likes him. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Makes you wonder,if he was on top and winning would he owe his X more money with a future earnings deal in divorce agreements ? Does it affect his play? billy joel tanked his career over a divorce why not tiger.
No matter what he does you will always be a hater, we get it. He has finished in the top 10 in the last 5 or 6 Masters(something like that). The fact of the matter is even a mediocre Tiger is better than 75% of the field. Not to mention noone gives a crap about the other clowns except for a few and even those guys don't do crap for TV ratings or golf in general. But you're probably right, I expect he'll be giving lessons at a driving range soon.
He won't end up at a driving range.... BUT.... if this trend continues I wouldn't be surprised to see him cash it all in and just quit the game. Right now his mind is that messed up.
i personally think so. He's trying to do stuff in his swing that he hasn't since he picked up a club at 4 years old. I just think he has too much going on. He's working on too much and WAY too technical. Every golfer is always tinkering with their swing, but the base pretty much remains the same. Tiger does these overhauls of the golf swing changing the entire basic fundamentals of his swing. I think it caught up to him this time. You can see him out there with all his pre shot rehersals. And after he hits a bad one he's doing the same thing. He lost the feel and God given ability to play golf. Just go out and PLAY! I've been through the same thing through the years and know exactly what he's feeling. You get so wrapped up in the technical changes and you just stop playing golf. You're analyzing every position of your swing on every shot. I can guarantee one thing. Guys at the top of the leaderboard right now have no idea where their club is at the top of the swing, half way down, how their hips are rotating, at impact, etc..... They are drawing a picture in their mind and trying to make that happen naturally. Tiger is just the opposite. I'd personally tell Foley to take a hike.
