I live in southeast Pa. and we had a ton of rain all summer. Normally when doing my thing in the woods over the summer I find ticks on my clothes. This year they seem to be nonexistent. Wondering if all the rain had an impact? Anyone else that got all that rain finding similar?

Ticks are always bad here in NC, but wait we got good news some Asian type tick that causes death has made its way over here. Oh and there’s the Asian kissing bug that has been found in 32 states, it bites you around your lips causing a bacterial infection that will show up in 67 percent of its hosts and will stroke you out, this joker can lay dormant for up to 30 years.

I'm in Virginia and they are still pretty bad around here. I've got a handful of free-range Bourbon Red Turkey and they seem to keep them down around the cabin but if I go scout around the woods and farm I'll come home with a few..

Idk, normally Oklahoma has little to no rain throughout the summer and the heat seemed to keep the ticks at bay. We have had two wet summers and a light winter sandwiched between them and these ticks are out of control. We have a new tick too! This one so much as bites you and your allergic to red meat for life.

Come to Logan county. And wet summer by comparison to the average here in central Oklahoma.

Had them a bunch in April and early may haven’t seen one yet on me or the dog. I’m out in woods every weekend. I don’t miss them.
