I'm thinking there ticks but wont y'alls opinion and what yah think is up with the lack of hair on front quarter, I think it might be front scratching or rubbing up against a tree. There are know fences near by.
Yeah looks like the small dark spots are ticks. The bald spots are just from their summer coat coming in fully. Usually the fall coat will come in thicker and there won't be the bald spot.
