Found first 2 ticks on my pant leg this week - got to get out the Premethrin.

Turkey season starts Apr 22 here in S. Ohio. Watch those ticks.

You guys spray down completely from head-to-toe or just the major areas like the cuffs and ankles?

I realize this isn't the deer section, but do you guys know if this will affect your scent/scent blockers? Both Off and premethrin. Does the order matter? premethrin then scent killers or vice versa.

I use Sawyer (got it at Cabela's) and it works great. Spray your clothes 4 hours prior to wearing them. Don't know how it effects scent blockers.

Damn things, getting the creepy crawlies just sitting here reading these!! Guess I'll be prepared when we head back to Ohio to start prepping things for food plots and if we turkey hunt.

Tics been bad already in NY, depending on the weather it's pretty hard to have few on you if you spend anytime near grass.

Yeah. Had a couple stuck to me last month so now I'm doubling up on the permethrin.
    Guess it wore off.

Went out shed hunting Wed and in 3 hours had over 40 ticks on me. Needless to say I was on edge all night long! Guess its going to be a bad summer and fall here in KY.

Sawyer's Permethrin is awesome. I have not seen any yet and I was in the woods today checking my trailcams. But, I know they are out. Spray everything down. It doesn't affect Scent Clothing. Sawyer's also makes a scent free repellant for your skin too.

I use the aerosol can of Sawyer's Permethrin and it works excellent for me. Takes care of the ticks as long as I keep using it.

So basically we're all f**ked. Now I'm more scared of ticks than ever! Time to buy permethrin by the barrels!

Man, I hate those ticks! It's finally warming-up here in SE Wisconsin, so I'm sure it won't be long and they'll be crawling.
