My school of thought is that I can handle ticks since all I have to do is strip down and check myself over real close at the end of the day. No big deal.

If they are talking about infection in 15 min. that is a whole other ball of wax.

Thanks! Me too! If your in an area with ticks, definitely pay attention. I haven't plucked a tick off me for about 2 years, not sure if it was from that or I had a bite that went un-noticed. Since I got Lyme I`ve pulled 2 off me though , really small ones that just look like a small speck.

Yeah I seem to find em in the worst spots this year, one pretty much in my arm pit, one on my ankle an the the last one I found was on my upper/inner thigh area if ya know what I mean. I screamed like a little girl an got the s.o.b. off ASAP! Never have got checked for lymes though.

I was out scouting the other day on a property I have permission to hunt but never really have. Well turns out there was a sink hole that didnt used to be there and I put my truck in it. Had to walk at least a mile with my young daughter and once I got to the road so my dad could figure out how to get in the field I had at least 30 ticks on me. Luckily my daughter only had 1. I carried her over my head most the way. My body hates me now lol. My truck is good except for a bent bumper. Not a fun night to say the least.

yea, uve just gotta keep an eye on it. its affects people in many different ways. My buddy had it a few years ago, I actually brought him to the hospital. He as in pretty rough shape. The thing is, u can get a blood test and get a false negative....kinda like when ur ol lady takes a pregnancy test haha

She loves being outside. She is so close to walking. She stands up on her own just wont take the first step. Im going to make sure she knows what the outdoors are and the beauty of hunting. I cant wait so I took her on a scouting trip and it turned out bad lol. I did see a 160 inch buck right before I discovered that darn hole.
