I do not go into the woods without having my clothing/gear all treated with Permethrin

The stuff works great and it lasts for many washings in hunting detergent. I have not had any issues with deer busting me.

I sprayed down my bug suit with Sawyer and stored in an bag with some fresh earth wafers. It was two weeks before I hunted. I had several doe within 20 yards over the course of a few sits. As long as the wind was good I had no problems. Good hunting!

Three times, so far this year, I’ve been had by the seed ticks. Last week, I thought because I’d mowed a path around my food plot and was only going to be out there for about 10 minutes putting up a cam, I wouldn’t have any problems. WRONG! I happened to look down at my knee and saw probably 100 of them on my knee, other knee had a swarm as well. I’m afraid to even check my cams next month. When do they go away?
