I went to cabelas to have a different module put on my bow and they said they would swap it out for free, which they did. now i normally take my bow to a shop that went under and loved the work they did. so i got to thinking and i had the guy a cabelas set up my bow to see how well they would do. i pick out a g5 peep and he came back out to tell me that putting the g5 peep on the new bow string wasn't a good idea. it would twist as the cable is being broke in. so he put a 3 way sting splitting peep on there for free and said i could buy the g5 later. so after he was done serving in my drop away we shot it and with in a couple arrows was dead on. now i didn't buy my bow there so he had to charge me something and when i went up to the check out it rang up to $10.52. SWEET. so i wanted to give the Richfield WI cabelas a thank you

Thanks for posting. Is it typical to not install the G5 meta until the string "breaks in"?

Its great to see a positive customer service post. Normally people only take the time for negative comments.

Ive heard the g5 peeps go both ways as far as installing it on a new sting. so i took his advise. believe me when i say that im not a big cabelas fan. but the guy took care of me. it really was an A+ service. now if i can only get their gun department to work with me...

In my experience, you should always shoot about 50 shots through a new string before putting a peep in, especially those that split the string in two places.
