I'm going on an red stag/ elk hunt. I can't decide on the thunderheads or the g5 strikers. If y'all have any suggestions can you reply and tell me what you think are the best. Thanks!

What are you shooting now? If they are accurate and a good head, stick with them.

Good advice there. I could use either head in full confidence. I've shot Thunderheads for years and had good results. Had a friend blow through both shoulder blades on a doe with a Thunderheads...

I shot the thunderheads at deer, and they did well but I heard a lot of good stuff on the g5 strikers so I was wondering if they would be better on big game

I've never used thunderheads, I shot a couple deer this year with strikers. They fly well, seem to be tough and they are very sharp out of the package. I used the 125 gr heads. I've heard lots of good things about the thunderheads. You can't go wrong either way. Good luck

The only way you're going to find out is by sighting it from 10-20yds. It all depends on your bow settings.
