I got a new thumb release today and was shooing with it a little during my lunch break. I really like the way it feels and I know im going to need to shoot a ton with it to get really use to it.. Does anyone have any advice or tips i could do to familiarize myself with it.

I just got one to and the only thing i found out about it you can pull the bow bad with it but that's the only bad thing i have noticed with it and put a string through it and tie it to the bow in a good place because i have placed it someplace and for got where it was

well just got done shooing after work and with about 25 shots I found that I love this thing.. At first I was jumping put as I slowed down and took my time I got better.. Started with about groups at 6 in or so from 20 yards not all the fletching are hitting so just going to keep working with it..

I have a thumb release as well, and I love it. I got it so I wouldn't have a release strapped to my wrist while hunting, making noise because it hits things. After getting used to it, I also improved my shooting. Enjoy your new release

Yeah, I actually leave it on my D loop all the time. If I'm walking through some thick stuff, I will put it in my pocket, but other than that it is always clipped on my string.

Just got a carter chocolate addiction and its really improved my shooting groups. I put some hockey tape in the finger groves to make it grip better and cut down on the metal going into my fingers. I absolutely love this thing, shoots like a champ.... Just keep on practing and build a solid anchor with it.
