I have been interested in looking for a thumb release and have noticed something very strange. most of the releases have a fixed head and can not rotate. Doesnt this create a lot of tension when your hand is tilted palm out the dloop is torqued crazy bad. theres no way that can be good. also I have heard with the hooks they tend to pluck the string and create the arrows to go right in some cases.

I was interested in getting one but am a litttle ignorant in this matter. I personally like the idea of a rotating head and dual calibers like the tru fire edge 4finger.

Can anybody explain how the thumb release without roating heads are not putting an increase of torque on the dloop because this picture doesnt look good?

I hate rotating heads. If the head doesn't rotate EXACTLY the same everytime, the shot is a little different.

Consistency is key in archery and a fixed head is more consistent imo. With a loop, turning it isn't necessarily creating negative torque on the string. It is, however, consistent.
