I'm looking for a thumb release for hunting and 3d shooting. I was just a hot shot vapor and just wasn't liking it that much. I couldn't get a light enough trigger. I went to a spot hogg wiseguy and like it because I can adjust it to a really light trigger but I like the feel of a handheld release better. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Carter release with the ITS springs can be adjusted very lightly. As well as the stanislawski releases. However a light trigger on a thumb release is conducive to trigger punching and not proper shot execution. Especially when hunting you may not be able to feel the light trigger through gloves and have a shot go off inadvertently beforehand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This^ I shoot the Carter Insatiable 2+ I'm still getting use to it from shooting the Scott caliper release for so many years. I really do like shooting the Carter. You can adjust it to be a very light trigger.
