    I'm getting a new release. I'm not sure which to go for. I'm using a Scott Silverhorn and like it alot. But, I've heard the thumb releases are much more forgiving. What are your opinions and what do you recommend that you feel is a better choice.

    I don't think that thumb triggers are any more forgiving but they do provide a more solid and repeatable anchor point. Either style can be shot well but I prefer the feel of the anchor with a thumb trigger.

    X2. The repeatability is why I stuck with a thumb release after switching over for target a few years back.
