I hope this question makes sense. I am recently getting back into bow hunting after being away for about 8 years. I was looking at releases and all index releases wrap around the wrist. I used to have an index finger release that had a thumb hole and a metal bar built in that would fit in the palm of your hand. That way you were drawing with your hand more than your wrist. Does anyone remember these or know if anyone still makes one?
no thumb hole, but check out the Keeton wrist strap ... when set properly with equal pulling pressure on the strap and length it does make drawing easier. I used it when my right shoulder was sore and had tendonitis in my arm. killed several deer with it ....
btw, the one your talking about is the Winn Free Flight I think ..... not sure how well it would work using a D-loop ...... https://www.winnarchery.com/C-10-Bow-Hunting-Archery-Release-C10-Free-Flight-Winn-Archery.html
Man, that Free Flight release brings back memories! My Dad shot that release forever and I had one as well. I am sure he still has them laying around somewhere in a box.
