We're gonna kick this one back to 1996 when the Macarena and the Quad City DJ's topped the charts. I was a Junior in high school, had just gotten my driver's license and drove a really sweet 1986 Plymouth K Car. Life was good my friends. This was my 3rd season bowhunting and my first successful harvest with a bow after a bunch of close calls, misses and other various mishaps. This tender 1 1/2 year old doe came in all by her lonesome and was greeted at 12 yards by a 2 blade Zwickey broadhead pushed by an Easton 2315 XX75 from the ol' Golden Eagle. Poor girl never knew what hit her and she was dead in 30 yards. Being my first kill with the bow I didn't know what happened when she just stopped and fell over right in front of me. I always thought they ran off and you couldn't see them when they died. After we recovered her my old man told me "Now you've got your license and you've killed your first deer. You just need to get l**d and you'll be a man". What a role model he was!
You look like less of a dork in this picture than the one with Todd a few weeks back. I need to do some digging and find some classics too!
That's awesome. My dad had 3 rules for becoming a man. 1. Restore a car. 2. Watch your child being born. 3. Build your house with your own hands. I've completed 2. Your dads plan sounds so much sweeter.
