three years of an old buck I call splitter

    [​IMG] Just going through some pics and wanted to post pics of splitter, I first got him three years ago and also two years ago and two of the pics where from last year. The pic in the fog from my red 40 is my favorite. If I get pics of him this year I figure he is either 6 or 7 years old. The fog pic is in January so he made it through gun season. How old do you guys think he is? Scoot

    I'm guessing he is either 5 or 6 based on shoulder compared to ham almost equal and neck pretty much blends in seamlessly with other his shoulders. That is definitely a great buck and hope you get a chance at him this year!!!!!

    I think he was 4.5 in 2011.

    Man he is big bodied deer. I'd put a guess in at 6.5. Good luck with him this fall!
