The way i look at it is there are 3 different levels of Football in America. There's the NCAA, the SEC, and then there is the NFL! Even as a lifelong Bama fan it was nice watching Auburn win the Natty.
No, it should not have been nice. It should have made you want to vomit. You should have been all Duck last night. How can y'all claim that the Auburn/Alabama "rivalry" is the best in sports if y'all cheer for each other?
I agree with this. As a Florida fan, I never want Florida State, Tennessee or Georgia to ever win another game in the future of their program. They sicken me (no offense, Phillip!). I also feel that way about Notre Dame too:D
I 100% agree. None taken Cody. I expect nothing less from a Gator. I had no rooting interest in last nights game, but thought Auburn would win it. Personally I couldn't care less that they won it. I'm like Cody in I would love to see UT's rivals, Bama, Florida and UGA, struggling year in and year out.
I believe it is "one of the best" but I never said it was "the best rivalry." I only hate auburn one week out of the season, and thats Iron Bowl week. I could never say one rivalry is better then the other because the Iron Bowl is the only BIG rivalry i have experience with. Auburn is like the little brother to Bama, i heard it put best when a guy told me this. "the two bloodiest fights i've ever been in, one was with my brother, the other was defending him." I must say though that my mother and my girlfriend are both big Auburn fans so it would dang hard to pull against the most important women in my life.
