Vermont just doesn't grow huge antlered deer. The state produces 1-2 150-160" deer per year. A 120-130" deer is a real attainable trophy here. I wish all of these guys could walk for another year but VT has very small parcels of private land, 500 acres is huge, most land is unposted and therefore huntable. Therefore it's very hard to let something go because the guy on the next 50ac is just going to shoot it. Can't wait for October to get here!
