So I know the saying can't kill anything from the couch, but how windy is to windy that your doing more harm then good? It's suppose to be sustained 15 mph with gusts of 25-30. I have a couple stands that should be okay granted the wind isn't swirling every where in the woods. Not to mention temps in the 60's. BUT it is that time of year with the rut coming on strong. What's a guy to do?

I have had success in low land or valleys during windy days. I also have hunted on sides of ridges.

I despise the wind when I'm hunting! I hunt tight quarters and I really rely on hearing them before they're right on top of me. During the rut I'll hunt in any kind of wind though.
