Never saw the need for one - especially on a Lone Wolf. All they do is make the stand heavier and noisier. Hanging a LW stand is about as easy as it gets even without the Buddy.
99% of my hunting is out of climbers, LW or Summit. Went this route 12 years ago and have not found it to be a hindrance.
