It's a phenomenal sight. I would wait for the new XL version to become available, though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think the fast Eddie scope is spot hogs nicest housing so far, especially the double pin. The XL is weighting in at almost 13oz so it's fairly heavy for what it is. I have two main issues that come into play with both spot Hogg and hha. I prefer having sight tapes on the inside of the riser vs the outside. So with that in mind I always tend to learn towards MBG and CBE. Spot hogs are really well built though, and they hold up fantastic. But like I said they tend to run on the heavy side.
I'm not a fan on the fast Eddie base. Most of the FE's sold this year were custom ordered with Hogg Father bases. But, the main complaint with that was the weight, enter the XL. I'm playing with a Trophy Taker Option 8 right now, which is awesome, but my SH Hunter 5 pin is the most bomb proof sight I've ever put hands on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You can tell the guys that have shop connections if they are running that TT lol My buddy just ran the fast Eddie scope on a tommy Hogg base, he also has a fast Eddie base on another bow. He said the bases are night and day better on the tommy. So like your saying the fast Eddie base might be just a little under par compared to the other Hogg bases. Did you see the new CBE hybrids? They look really sweet. I always thought their drive systems the best around and throw pins systems the worst. They look like they changed that. MBG also looks like they stepped up and made some improvements.
I haven't seen the new CBE's yet. ATA coverage has sucked this year, everywhere. The new Verdict is a huge improvement over the previous Ascent. We spent a lot of time on the phone with them this last fall working on design stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I said the same thing over on AT and they chewed me a new one. Yea the verdict looks solid. It's scary to think that it's representing the budget end of sliders. 400 sights ...man things are getting high.
