My buddy brought up an interesting point last year and I have thought about it alot just wanted to see what you guys thought. He always uses estrous on a wick and never used a drag rag. Im personally a big fan of the drag rag so I asked him why he doesnt use one. He said that he only wants the scent out when hes on stand, taking it out when he leaves, that way if a buck does come in he gets a shot. He didn't want the scent lingering around and a buck could come in over night or any day hes not in a tree shortly after and once he realizes hes fooled, wont be fooled again.

I see where hes coming from and think that its a really good strategy actually. Plus the scent wont linger and will be more appealing to residential bucks because it is random.

    What do you guys think?

I think it sounds like a good idea. I may actually give this approach a try.

It seems to make a lot of sense but I'm a rookie here.
