What do you do when you gotta take a leak?

that is my limiting factor so far - that and sheer boredom after about 4 hours or so...

Whip it out and let it rip.:D

It's my (and many others on here) strong believe that human urine does not spook deer.

If you are really that concerned about it then they make containers for this.

I buy a big bottle of gatorade and drink it the night before. Use the bottle to pee in. Some guys swear human pee doesn't bother deer. I've seen the opposite.

I'll argue all day long (and have before) that your pee alone will NOT disturb deer... I pee off my stand all the time & always have.

The year I killed my biggest (167 1/8), I saw him six different times; once he walked directly under my stand but I never could get the right angle. Not once did he get spooked; I doubt I'd ever seen him again if he did.

Oh, and a definite plus... :D having a Blackberry so I can surf Bowhunting.com as well as super-dry leaves so I can hear something coming from 100 yards away.

This wind aint helpin' none though! :)

Sitting all day isn't for most people. It takes a certain mind set to pull off. You need to "believe" in your spot and it's likelyhood to pay off. I've done many dark to dark hunts (during the rut) and I've seen deer in the middle of the day. One of the biggest bucks I've ever seen came by at 12:10PM while hunting in Alberta one year. Also, I killed my 9pt this year at 1:15PM. All bets are off when the rut is going on!

Ive never pulled a true all day sit in bowseason. I live in close proximity to my properties so i always come down for lunch. I have spooked deer on the way back in though, so i can see its advantages.

Thank god for my iPhone it is a great piece of equipment to have in the stand. Now if I could just find a long enough cord to recharge the battery.

When you're limited to the amount of time you can get out in the woods throughout the season, all day sits are worth every minute. An all day sit was my first experience with bowhunting. I sat in a tree, in the rain and cold, for 13 hours. I didn't even have a bow - was just out there, taking it all in, watching isaiah, hoping we'd see something he could take a shot at. and even without a bow, i was hooked. I have 2 all days sits coming my way this weekend and i couldn't be more excited!

I have been doing them, but only saw one small buck at 1:30. Sure makes for long days when nothing is moving!!! Starting to think it is not worth it. Unless hunting time is limited.

I pulled my first all day bow sit last Saturday, so I have a limited amount of data. That said, I had action most of the day with a lull between 1 and 3:30. I will be out there again this Saturday, unless I get it done tomorrow morn or Friday night.

I love doing all day sits, but i rarely get time to do it. I don't really see any deer mid-day, though.

I do all day sits every year during the rut. It has been slow this year due to warm temps, but I have had several dinks come through during the mid day. Three years ago I killed a very old buck at 12:30 in the afternoon. When conditions are right, it is very worth it.
