he has some video that he hasnt sent yet, from what i understand.....
you are on an airboat till you find a boar, no females, then each boat has a hound and the hound(s) will turn the hog so it aint looking at you. you grab the back legs and flip it! once its on its back you are good! hog-tie it and take pics and let it on its way!!!! he said he never ran soooooooo fast in his life than when he had to jump back on the airboat. think they got like 13 the other day =-)

Man I love hog hunting but I'll be danged if it doesn't end up in the smoker!
And that bad boy has some nice cutters. It would make a great euro mount.

That might be a little tricky, coaxing him to sit still long enough to do a euro mount with his head... being alive and all... lol.

That's freaking nuts! May I ask what's the point of just tackling a pig? Why not put them in the freezer?

That's freakin' bad-ass! But I have to admit, if I ever managed to tackle a pig without killing myself in the process, I would be eating bacon for the next few months. No way I'd let him go!

the way Steltzy put it to me, its like catch and release for these guys. they have such an appreciation for these animals that if they killed em' there would be no hogs to catch. now i dont claim to know the population of hogs, and believe me guys the first thing i thought of was why dont they harvest the animal!!!!!!!!!!!

guess the only way i can put it is like us passing on smaller bucks.... they will "take" the feral hogs and IF one (russian/razor) is of unique size/color/chompers then they will, but collectively as a group they say, "if you take that animal we had better see that sucker in your house, or on the wall somewhere"

different strokes for different folks i suppose... if I get down there in the next few months I’ll have someone video me!!!!!!!!

    Wait, was this in LA?

Because I know Steltz is a LA boy, and if he is doing this down in the marsh, they should have absolutely no worries whatsoever about the hog population. Hogs have overrun this entire state. They would be doing the entire state a service by killing every hog they get there hands on.

And nobody appreciates hogs. Hogs are trash. Plain and simple.

But the little one's are delicious.

Hooker, I've got a good mind to come down there, and have you put me on some for about a week... lol. I don't know what I would do with them though! Make bacon, ham hocks, ummm......brushes? Why, if these are so over populated, aren't there more people out there messin' them up?

Trust me, plenty of people are killing hogs, especially now that deer season is over, many are taking this time slaughter some pigs.

It's just that you cannot kill them all. They breed so much, and so quickly, that once you have them, you will never get rid of them.
