I haven't read the entire Bible. I don't believe that's necessary. But I've read enough of it to know that God ordered an incredible amount of killing to be done to further the cause of his chosen people. So if you are basing your assumptions about what God intended on the Bible, which is what it seems, your conclusions have no basis.
