Well sure, but it was awfully decent of someone to fully dress it for you before you found it. :)

Good save with the pun, but it must be a SC thing.

OK, all you sissies of bowhunting.com... I have a treat for everyone.

My 14 year old step son is into video games. He came across a game called Slender. I played it for a while with him and I have to say, its downright creepy.

I want everyone here to download and install this game (its free believe it or not) and start playing it. Especially the night before you head out for a morning hunt!

Pretty much , but in this case he just happened to get there first. If you make a grammatical mis-step like that you can rest assured that you're going to get lit up by someone. :D

I get spooked about once a year and usually its the first day. When walking in complete silence during dark its easy to get startled by a loud crashing sound. Good thing I don't have any cats or bears where I live. I always think I see something when its dark but as soon as day comes I realize it is a stump or some other nonliving thing.

Man, I laughed my butt off to a lot of these tonight. Especially with some that had the coons and squirrels climb on them . I've walked up on large hog in a really thick pine thicket one time. He immediately started growling and chomping his jaw. I had no pistol that morning so I quickly walked back the other way looking for any kind of big stick I could find haha. I wanted no part of that lol. I always carry a pistol with me when I go into the woods now.

Heard the creepiest sound I've ever heard before, turns out to be a couple of raccoons, probably didn't help that I watched the movie, Mama, the night before. Never knew they could make such a creepy noise.
Another morning, I swear I heard a sasquatch howling in the woods, again, probably didn't help I was watching a squatch marathon.
Not as creepy but browned my Haines, didn't know there was an owl about 15 yards from me until he let out a hoot before the sun came up. Thank you, hunter safety system.

The coolest/scariest sound I ever heard was on opening morning of Rifle season. It was about 30 mins before shooting light and I had just sat down under an old pine. I heard the pitter patter of feet to my right, I knew it wasn't a deer because it sounded to light. about a minute later an old coyote belts out his warning cry no father than 10 yards away. His howl was so deep I thought someone was poaching with hounds for a min. He huffed at me for about 45 seconds and then was off. Was a really cool experience

I usually turn off my light and listen for a while, then slowly finish getting ready in the dark. happened to me last year bear hunting.

Many years in spec ops made me pretty much fearless. Until my dad turned the bull out in the pasture I cut across to get in to the woods. This pasture had been empty for a long time. I heard something raising hell and making these deep gut noises and running towards me. Don't think I have ever covered so much ground and made it over a fence that fast in years!
