As this weekend quickly approaches and you ponder what fun you'll have, take a moment to thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice to give you your freedoms. Then, expand on that and take another moment to remember your loved ones who have gone ahead too. For they also made this weekend possible for you. Before Mom passed away, I made a promise to her. Tomorrow, I make the trip to place flowers on the graves of my brother, Mother, Father, Grandparents and Great-Grandparents and fulfill that promise.
Thanks Jim, Sometimes we forget what a holiday is really about. Most are for others that have made a sacrifice (i.e. Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Mothers Day....), but we tend to forget and just think about what we'll enjoy.
