Well the first week is all but over. I videoed each sit and will continue to do so as I go along the season. I anticipate several kills on video however, it's just not always that easy. Here's the week in review. Videos Day 1 Food Plot Stand Day 2 Filming Ben Day 3 Ben's First Attempt Day 4 Ben's Walnut Tree Stand Day 5 Ben's 864 Stand And just a couple of my favorite pictures for the week.
Awesome first week. Much credit goes to Rob, he is the man when it comes to editing and being unselfish. I can't wait to see what the second week brings.
where did you get that camera??? been looking but cant find it and someone said they dont sell it any more...???
I'm part of Team River Valley Game Calls and that camera belong to the call company. They've recently upgraded and I've been using that camera for years so I bought it. You can find them on ebay (buyer beware) or B&H Photo out of NY. (online).
I bought the Deer Flute from River valley game calls and twice this year it worked its magic and a buck and a doe came in with 2 little grunts total. Doe is now in my freezer. :-)
isaiah - you can still get GL2's all over the place. We get most of our equipment from B&H Photo or from Campbell Cameras. Check these two links out. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/255811-REG/Canon_7920A001_GL2_Mini_DV_3CCD.html http://www.campbellcameras.com/p-22-canon-gl2-video-camera-250-mail-in-rebate.aspx Rob - i see the XLR adapter on the camera and what looks like the cord for a wireless mic. Am I correct? If so, what brand are you using and how's it working out for you? I checked out a few video clips, and I like what I see. Very cool! I'm planning on doing something similar with keeping a video-type journal throughout my season. Trouble is, I haven't started hunting yet. :D Keep up the good work, and I hope to see a few kills on video this fall!
