Ahhh.. it's such a pleasure to read back over all these pages of Duke bashers and realize... there are only two teams left. One of them is Duke. Butler is a very good team. It'll be a tough game. Hey, who won that other tournament? Anyone know?
I can tell you who DIDN'T win it.....lol (though I was SO hoping they would). I would have bought tickets to the game when the proud team hoisted that NIT banner up into the rafters of the nose dome!
Who cares what they played? I dont' care if they had a free throw competition. Whatever they did, everyone played the same game. Actually the only team that was probably pampered and catered to was probably Duke. Some things never change. Thanks for the update.... my sportscenter isn't coming in very well today.
Two things about last night's game...that was the best I've seen Duke play all year (very impressive), and I haven't seen WVU dominated that badly all year. Duke looked like they were playing one of their not-so-tough out of conference opponents early in the season.

Sure am. Didn't realize that was so glamorous though seeing as how they've won a playoff game in the last decade. I didn't personally print the banner for them to hang. Legit or not who cares? So take that one away. Take the 50's one away too if it makes you sleep better. Still have more titles than the almighty Duke. Anyway ..... I'm done thinking about basketball for the year. I have no interest anymore. Besides I'm battling an excessive draw/ pull hook off the tee that needs my attention. Driving me nuts actually. have fun........... go Butler.

His point may be well intended. But seriously, just have a couple beers before you start a round and then have one every hole for at least the front side. Guarantee that snap hook will be gone by the tenth hole. I never realized NY, not only are you a poor winner, you're a poor loser too. I agree, your team lost in December. I'm not a poor loser. I've conceded the UNC 09/10 season the second they won it all last year. I knew they were going to suck this year. I remember posting here about why the hell they are ranked anywhere in the vicinity of the top 25. I'll agree I am a poor winner though lol.:D It's not really the ugly snap hook. It's the long high sweeping from on side of the fairway to the other kind of hook. Playable really, it's just a little too much for me. Especially where I have to start it and if it decides to start going straight I'm in deep do do. Yeah I've tried ALL the fixes I could think of to no avail. I even tried hitting 40 yard fades ( I like to correct by exaggeration) and the went straight or little fade lol. Figured I was hanging back on my right side too, but if I try getting to my left side anymore I'll be falling over. I had a revalation during the night I'm going to look into. It may have something to do with the clubface position at the top of my swing. May be shut down a few degrees? Not parallel to my target line? I dunno... something I haven't looked at anyway. Going to go put my ugly broken swing on film. Go Butler

I used to fight the left to lefts. Biggest thing that helped me was watching Ben Hogan and Fred couples right heel position at impact. Rarely (Fred does it more, of late) does their right heel leave the ground. You know the laws of ball flight. Closed to closed = one thing. Could even be a grip issue.....but I highly doubt it. You know your clubface is closed at impact. You just have to figure out "why?". I doubt you're casting. But, the right heel position negates that. Off the top of my head....... Good luck, NY.
If Bulter had a better shooting night they win IMO. They had great looks all night and just missed. Duke made their shots, and rebounded like animals in the second half. Great game to watch
